LOCATION: The Ship Inn
the Ship Inn is claimed to be the oldest public house in Guisborough.
While enjoying the audio, carefully cross Westgate taking care to avoid oncoming traffic. Walk eastwards along Westgate (watching out for several side roads which may contain traffic turning onto Westgate). On the corner of Westgate Rd, opposite the Guisborough Methodist Church, you will find Dr Pratt’s House, marked with a blue plaque and also with our Audio trail plaque. That is the final location on the trail.
