LOCATION: The Fair Field
The site of the Fair Field stands across the Redcar Rd (caution – can be busy traffic!). Now a housing estate, it used to be a place for children to play games, go sledging in winter and, when the Fair came to town, it happened there.
While enjoying the audio, walk southwards alomg Redcar Rd to the corner opposite St Nicholas Church and the Cenotaph, where you will find our plaque indicating the next location on the trail.
