art work: children’s giant banner
The giant likes to sit gazing out over the beautiful hills around Guisborough. But it can get cold. The kind children of Guisborough have designed a whole collection of printed patchworks, and they have been sewn together into a beautiful quilt to keep a giant toasty warm on a cold evening. Now he can comfortably drift into a hundred-year nap and dream big dreams.
Our children are the future. What big dreams do you have?
Made by the children of Guisborough’s 5 primary schools: Belmont, Chaloner, Galley Hill, Highcliffe, and St Paulinus, working with local artist Dawn Brooks
Kind art Host: St Nicholas Church graciously gave us use of their railings for this temporary art exhibit
