This web page is under construction for the launch of the Restorying sound trail 2025, an affectionate portrait of Guisborough featuring the voices, stories, music, poetry, art and ambient sounds of our beautiful town. A Guisborough Arts production in collaboration with Borderlands Creative People and Places.

LOCATION: The Market Cross
Take time to look at the wonderful old market cross, where agriculture hirings once took place. Then while enjoying the audio, follow the trail route from the Market Place, through Patten Lane to the next location, the site of the Animal Mart on Union Street. The site is now occupied by the Hinton Court residential home.
